2. WE ARE PRAYING FOR ALL OUR LEADERS IN EVERY NATION
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live. He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned. 1 Timothy 2:1-4(MSG)
We are thanking God for the Spirit of the fear of the Lord (reverence) manifested in the corridors of power, and in the places of decision-making in every nation, causing leaders to be restrained from doing wrong, rather compelling them to do right in the sight of God. Thank God because leaders who are callous and forget God are rendered insignificant and replaced with righteous and upright leaders.
3. WE ARE THANKING GOD SPECIALLY FOR THIS GLORIOUS MONTH OF MAY
Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods." Psalm 95:2-3.
Thank God specially for this glorious month of May and for the exploits and the milestones we will record as a Ministry, Zone, Church and as individuals. Declare that the glory of this new month will far outclass all that we have achieved and experienced in the years past.
4. WE ARE PRAYING SPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD
"Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks:for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18.
Thank God for children around the world, pray fervidly in tongues of the Spirit, as we intercede for them. Pray for their salvation, for those yet saved; and that they are protected from every evil work of satan. Pray for orphans and children living in the inner cities and war-torn regions, declaring deliverance, restoration and help in this time of need.
