Jesus gave us “power” over all the power of the enemy. The word translated “power” here is from the Greek “Exousia,” which means “authority” or “delegated power.” We have delegated power over all the ability of the enemy. It doesn’t matter how the devil tries or through what means he tries to work; we have authority in the Name of Jesus
over all of his power, and there’s nothing he can do about it.
The Name of Jesus has power over every disease that the enemy may try to put on you. No matter what the disease is called, the Name of Jesus is greater and more powerful! God raised the Name “Jesus” far above every name. The Bible says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10).
Cancer is a name. Malaria is a name. HIV is a name. Arthritis is a name. Whatever has a name is subject to the Name of Jesus and as such, is subject to our authority as we use His Name. Thank God for that! If there’s any sickness or disease troubling your body today, I want you to know that you have sufficient power to deal with it in the
Name of Jesus.
Sometime in 1985, I was preaching and suddenly began to have some discomfort in my eyes. It felt like a tiny stone was in my eye and I kept rubbing it, thinking it would go away. Within twenty-four hours one of my eyes was red and swollen, and to my utmost surprise I was told I had conjunctivitis, a very contagious eye disease.
I hadn’t known about it prior to this time and I thought to myself, I could have done something about it if I had known what it was all the time I was rubbing it, thinking it was a stone. I cursed it to die from its roots and pass out of my body, and it cleared up in two days.
Well, the following year, it was “conjunctivitis season” again, and many around me were afflicted with it. But I said, “In the Name of Jesus, I will not contract it this time around.” No matter how many afflicted people I came in contact with, I kept saying that I would not have it. Praise God, it’s been over twenty years since then, and I’ve never had it again and I never will! I used my authority in the Name of Jesus to drive it out of my life and kept it out!
There is power in the Name of Jesus. His Name gives us absolute mastery over the devil, and over all sickness and infirmity. What God’s people need is to understand the power behind the Name and how to apply it. You can begin today to make demands in the Name of Jesus.
Talk to your body and tell it how you want it to function; it will comply! Remember that Jesus spoke to a tree, to the winds and the waves, even to corpses, proving that everything God made has intelligence. Your body and the circumstances around you have intelligence, so speak to them today in the Name of Jesus!
The truth is many sicknesses that people suffer from are caused by demons. If you’ve been suffering from a condition that has defied medical science, refuse to let it linger. You can and ought to cast that devil out in the Name of Jesus. Remember, “...these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).

Hallelujah! It's time for your miracle! Place your hand where you need healing now! I pray for you, that you be healed in all your system, your body receives the anointing for your healing right now! Take it, in Jesus' Mighty Name! There is power abundantly available right now for your healing. Hallelujah! Step into your miracle right now!
