THE THINGS THAT GOD SEEKS

Pastor Cheri

PRAYER

Thank you Lord for Your Word like seed is about to be sown in our hearts and we receive it on the fertile ground of our hearts. It is sown and produces a great harvest in order lives,in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

“I never have a need to seek my own glory, for the Father will do that for me, and he will judge those who do not. 51 I speak to you this eternal truth: whoever cherishes my words and keeps them will never experience death.” John 8:50-51 (The Passion Translation)

When you become a child if God, you don’t live your life by your effort, that is God's responsibility. You should live your life in a way that you bring Him honor. You seek to do His will always.

When you start doing things according to God's way, God will begin to seek your glory.

There are 3 things that God searches for:

1. GOD SEEKS TRUE WORSHIPPERS

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24.

What is worship? It is more than a worship service

Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the reality, blessings, character and greatness of God. This recognition and appreciation, we express in prayer, sacrifice and service.

3 elements of worship are:

- Prayer

- Sacrifices

- Service

Therefore, your first fruit is the appreciation of the reality, blessings, character and greatness of God. Your first fruit is a worship. It is more than more money.

God is looking for true worshippers

Worship is more than coming or going to church.

Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the reality, blessings, character and greatness of God. This recognition and appreciation, we express in prayer, sacrifice and service.

Your service to God is worship

As a cell leader your work is an act of worship, same with soulwinning and in your service in the house of God. You recognize that you are dealing with God not man.

Worship is an adoration of God. God is holy.

Through your worship, you recognize and appreciate His greatness, His character, you recognize that this is God and not a man.

“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10

Your duty is to honor Him

His duty is to honour you

There is one who is responsible for my promotion and my prosperity this year.

The Father will do that for you this year. He says honour me...... I will fill your barns

He's the only one that can make all grace abound towards you. Matthew 6:25-33, 2 Corinthians 9:8

For us to enjoy God this year we have to do it His way, we have to act on His Word.

Worship is an action, it’s adoration, attitude, accuracy.

In the Old Testament if God ask for a lamb you don’t give him a camel

Accuracy means you give God what He says you should give Him.

Sometimes people just want to do what they like, they seek their own honour, they seek their own glory and just completely disregard what God says.

2. GOD SEEKS THE LOST, THE UNSAVED

“For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:11-12

God is always seeking for the lost. His passion for the lost is so great!

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

“And he spake this parable unto them, saying, what man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Luke 15:3-7

3. GOD SEEKS THE MAN HE CAN USE

In every generation, family, town or nation, God is always seeking for a man He can use.

God is always looking for a man that will make up for the lack of others. That man that will stop evil from coming. This 2025 you are that man!

The Lord chose David to rule His people even before David ever knew about it.

And Samuel said to Saul, thou hast done foolishly: thou thee: for now, would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel forever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.” 1 Samuel 13:13-14

At this time, David knew nothing about God’s decision. He didn't know God had chosen him to be king

While we are here doing what we are doing, positions are changing hands. God is commanding some people to leave their position because you are coming in. Hallelujah!

“And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.” Acts 13 :21

God is the only that place kings and remove them.

“And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.”  Acts 13 :21

This year God is using you to turn many unto righteousness. Through your involvement in the 40 days of Harvest, your preparation for the Group Crusade happening in a few weeks and the March Healing Streams, many will be saved, healed and delivered.

Acknowledge, recognize and appreciate the reality, blessings, character and greatness of God through your prayers, service and sacrifice to God.

FAITH AFFIRMATION

I affirm that I am an embodiment of God's blessings!

I was born into wealth and I am a success forever!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

My mentality and response to life are different because I have the mind of Christ.

I can’t think of failure, defeat, or impossibilities; for the ability of the Spirit has been granted unto me to achieve supernatural results in my assignment.

I know who I am, Christ is alive in me!

I am conscious of the inherent features of the God-life in my spirit!

I’ve been fashioned for glory, beauty, and excellence;

I bring forth good things today because my heart is a treasury of blessings.

When I call things forth, they come into being. I am invincible, indestructible, and impregnable. Hallelujah!

I have the wondrous, incorruptible, imperishable, miracle-life of God in me.

The very essence of divinity is at work in me, and that divine life surges through my being, repelling sickness, disease, infirmity, death, poverty, and everything inconsistent with the provisions of the Gospel of Christ.

I am making tremendous progress from glory to glory.

Hallelujah!
