PRAYER
Thank you Lord for another glorious time to fellowship with you, we open our minds
to hear and receive your Word and we receive it gladly with faith and meekness, in Jesus' Most Precious Name. Amen.
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10
The story of King Amaziah, the king of Judah is an interesting one that shows us the safety and blessings of following the Lord’s instruction. (Read 2 Chronicles 25:1-25)
Amaziah raised 300,000 men to go for war with Mount Seir which is Edom and hired 100,000 men to go to war with him, he also paid them a lot of money. The 100 talent of silver which Amaziah invested is estimated today to be about 350 dollars per soldier. He gave a lot of money.
But the word came to him not to form an alliance with the children of Israel.
“But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim.” 2 Chronicles 25:7
In verse 8, the Man of God said to Amaziah …”you can still go ahead if you want but you will fail And let me tell you God can do much more than this and he has the power to cast down”
“If you let them go with your troops into battle, you will be defeated by the enemy no matter how well you fight. God will overthrow you, for he has the power to help you or to trip you up.” 2 Chronicles 25:8 NLT
The Prophet said, “The Lord is able to do much more than this
When as a Christian you decide you are not going to follow God's instruction concerning your finances you are declaring war with God.
By not following God’s instructions, you are making God a liar and God will ensure that person does not succeed.
If God says this is how He wants us to respond and you are not responding that way you are telling God that He doesn't count.
You cannot win without God.

Don't follow the system of the world, God does not operate with the system of the world
No matter how well you know how to do business, no matter how well you know how to study once you eliminate God from the equation you are going to loose.
THE FIRST FRUIT - GOD’S PRINCIPLE FOR FINANCIAL PROSPERITY
“And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this” 2 Chronicles 25:9.
At the beginning of the year God instructed us to give our first fruit. You may be thinking of what to give as your first fruit, but the Lord is able to give you more than your tithe, first fruit, and even souls.
What He wants you to do is to follow His instructions! Stop fighting battles, you cannot win! Follow spiritual instructions.
HOW WILL GOD DO MUCH MORE FOR YOU?
OBEDIENCE
The Lord made a demand on the king’s obedience
It is always better to follow God's financial principles and instructions
For instance, God says give your tithe Malachi 3:8-12
If you don’t give your tithe you are telling God, “I can prosper without Him”
“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6
The humble is the one that submits himself. The first thing is obedience
Say this year I will do the will of God (Mark 8:36, Luke 6:46-49, 1 John 2:15-17)
2. YOU HAVE TO WALK BY FAITH
There's an act of faith that God's expect from us when we dare to believe God
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.” Hebrew 11:1-2
God said at the beginning of the year give your first fruit. If you look at the amount and think it’s too big or how will I survive you have made God a liar, God is able to give you much more than that.

The Holy Ghost can give you far more than you can imagine!
If you do not have a relationship with the Lord Jesus today, start by honoring Him for what He did on the cross for you. He died so you will never be condemned to death anymore. God gave Jesus as His first begotten, and now we all through His death can live as sons of God….Believe and confess His Lordship over your life and you will be saved!
Say, "O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus, I believeYou died for me to give me salvation, I receive you today as my Lord and personal Savour. I declare that I am born again and I am saved. I receive eternal life today and I walk with You forever. "

God has given me the victory in all things, through Christ Jesus! I am triumphant, victorious, prosperous, and successful in all things. Hallelujah!
