There was a king in the Bible, king Hezekiah by name who was sick and was supposed to die. He received a word from the Lord to set his house in order for he was going to die. But something happened, king Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed...
Turn to Isaiah 38:1-6
"In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
See what happened when he prayed. God heard his prayer., he changed the course of events. He was supposed to die, but didn't anymore. Praise the Lord! We can do exactly the same through our prayers. Hallelujah!
We will pray fervently and effectively until the place where we are shakes. Hallelujah!
"And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." Acts 4:31.
We would go ahead now.
Each prayer point is for 10mins.
1. Speak in tongues.
Isaiah 28:11-12
For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people.
To whom He said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing....
2. Thank God for the new month of April. Speak in tongues declaring words into the month for yourself, your family, friends and loved ones. Speak forth what you want to see and all that you want to achieve. If you have goals and targets, set your eyes and your mind on them as you pray.
Job 22:28.
"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."
3. Let's pray for the year, this is still the year of Redemption. Hallelujah! If you haven’t accomplished much, since the beginning of the year, begin to thank the Lord for the areas you want to effect changes in, whether in your job, marriage, business, health, finances..., speak words to these areas and cause the changes you desire.
Mark 11:23
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which He saith shall come to pass; He shall have whatsoever He saith."
4. Let's pray for all our Leaders and Pastors in the ministry and in our Church/Churches, they are functioning in divine wisdom in their work, they function with the zeal of the Spirit in all that they do bringing up their members with wisdom from the Spirit.
Proverbs 24:3
"Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:"
5. Pray for those in the hospitals, clinics and health centres, the mighty hand of God brings restoration and healing to them, they are well and recover speedily. They receive wholeness. Every money spent and every effort comes back to them in multiple folds.
Psalms 107:20
"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
6. Pray for any special prayer request you have now.
Job 22:27
"Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and He shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows."
