Welcome to this new month! October is going to be a great month for all of us. As we pray today, we would declare words that would pilot us for the rest of the month. Through prayer, we would put things in place in our lives for the month. Hallelujah!
The Bible says,
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6.
This means, any prayer done without faith is not acceptable to God, so we must pray with faith in our hearts and God's Word on our lips, hallelujah, knowing full well that are prayers are heard by our Heavenly Father. Glory to God!
We would begin now. Each prayer point is for 10mins.
1. Declare words into the month of October for yourself, your family, friends and loved ones.
Job 22:28
"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."
2. Pray for our upcoming Reach Out World. Thank the Lord for the effect of the program in the earth. Thank God that as we distribute Rhapsody, Kiddies Rhapsody, Teevo and adult Rhapsody, we reach all category and class of people. Thank God that each one we reach is affected by this devotional, they receive Christ if they haven't and are committed to the gospel. Thank God for this material floods the whole earth causing remarkable changes in the lives of many with testimonies abounding on their lips.
Habakkuk 2:14
"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."
Matthew 24:14
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come"
3. Thank God for our Man of God Pastor Chris, he is functioning with more wisdom as he ministers the Word, and with more ability from the Spirit in his work. It's from to glory for him in all things. Hallelujah!
Thank God for our Man of God Pastor Cheri, she is functioning with increased grace and ability, all her desires are met and she delivers the Word with wisdom to her hearers.
Jeremiah 3:15
"And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
4. Thank God for ministers of the gospel around the world, they are filled with wisdom from the Spirit for their work, as the saints receive the Word at their lips, they are perfected. The raise up a generation of spiritual giants, saints who are ready to carry out the work of the Kingdom with all zeal and eagerness. Thank God for continuous spiritual guidance and protection for them.
Ephesians 4:11-12
"And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"
5. Pray for Christians all over the world who are facing persecutions for the sake of the gospel, pray that they are delivered from wicked and unreasonable men, they are strengthened by God's Spirit and they are more committed to the gospel like never before.
2 Thessalonians 3:2
"And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith."
