PRAYER
Thank you Lord for the Word coming to us today, our spirits are open and receptive, ready to receive the Word. We mix the Word with faith in our hearts as it comes to us, and walk in the light of our victory in Christ, in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
The Word of God clearly shows us who we are and how we function in the earth.
Matthew 5:14 says,
"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."
This means we are here on earth to give direction to others, to show others the way and path to follow in life. Hallelujah!
There is a purpose for our being here on earth if not, we would have gone to heaven the moment we gave our hearts to Christ.
The reason you are here on earth, is to reach out to others and bring them to the light of the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! We are to rid them from the hands of the devil and deliver their inheritance in God to them as we minister the gospel to them. We deliver them from darkness and from everything not of God, and bring them in contact with God and His Word.
So we have a responsibility to fulfil on earth, we have work to do in the earth. This is the reason we were made and called the light of the world. Hallelujah! In a dark world, we should shine as lights, in a crooked and perverse world, we should burn and shine for the Kingdom.
Many in the world today are without hope and a future, they don’t have a purpose for living. This is why we are here to change this. We are from a heavenly Kingdom that operates with principles different from that of this world. We play by a different set of rules. We don't function with worldly rules. There is a way we talk, think and behave.
We live godly. This is because we are born again and carry God on the inside. We are full of love and are also anointed. Hallelujah!
We live with joy unspeakable, having and living the victorious life at every count. Glory to God!
This is what we have brought to the people of the world. The Bible says in Matthew 5:16,
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.'
We are to shine our light in this world for men to see who we are and how we live. We are to teach them about the Kingdom through our way and manner of life in the Kingdom.
Let the life we are living in this world, minister to others, causing them to function in and live the Kingdom life. We have to show them Jesus, and teach them the principles of the Kingdom.
You are the hope of the world. God can only reach them through you. The gospel is God's only saving power on the earth.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Romans 1:16.
If the gospe ls God’s only saving power and you are the one to carry this gospel to others, then what are you waiting for? Begin your ministry! Hallelujah! The Bible calls us ministers of the gospel.
"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." 2 Corinthians 3:6.
You don't need a pulpit before you start preaching the gospel, start from where you are, your catchment, your neighbourhood, your family, your school, your work place. These are area to preach the gospel. Let your light burn and shine as we win souls to the Lord. Let them see and experience Jesus through you.
There is a depth in God that you would never know until you start winning souls. There is an anointing you would never experience until you start reaching others with the gospel.
Make winning souls your priority. The Bible says
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and He that winneth souls is wise." Proverbs 11:30.
Also, Daniel 21:3 says
"And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
So for you to be wise and for you to shine, you should and must be involved in soul winning, you must reach others with the gospel.
Let the Word be like fire shut up in our bones.
"Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay." Jeremiah 20:9.
Don't hold back, win souls, preach this gospel. It has been committed to your trust.
There are people who have been assigned to you, these are those in your sphere of contact. They are those only you must reach. So what happens if you don't reach them?
"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, He is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."
Ezekiel 33:6.
You should be able to say like Paul, "Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men." Acts 20:26.
Fulfill your calling today as you win souls. God is counting on you and the world has it's hope on you.
